What are the FDC-200 Series?

The FDC-200 Series are compact Touch Panel Computers with embedded Windows CE®.net operating system. Designed to operate in an industrial environment it combines the convenience of an affordable operator interface color touch screen with the power and versatility of the open Windows CE® platform.

Windows CE.net® allows versatility to select the HMI software (written for Windows CE), connect to controllers/PLC’s you use and/or create your own application using Microsoft® Visual Basic, have Future Design Controls develop a custom OEM solution or from multiple 3rd party software development solution providers;

Windows CE Operating Systems v4.2, v5.0 & v6.0:

Hardware may be specified with Windows CE operating systems; 4.2,

v 5.0 or v6.0. Standard Windows CE versions shown below.

FDC-2010 (5.6") has v4.2 as standard

FDC-2107 and 2110 (7" & 10") has v5.0 as standard

CPU FDC-2010: Cirrus Logic EP9315 200MHz processor (CPU) includes a memory management unit (MMU) that supports the embedded open platform Windows CE.net®. The EP9315 CPU also includes a hardware graphics acceleration engine that improves graphic performance by handling block copy, block fill and hardware line draw operations.

CPU FDC-2107i & 2110i: The RISC 400MHz processor (CPU) includes a memory management unit (MMU) that supports the embedded open platform Windows CE.net®. The ARM926EJ core processor integrates a 2D Graphics Accelerator and an adder low power mode

FDC-2010: DRAM 64MB (Dynamic RAM Memory), 32 MB RAM and one CompactFlash® card slot

FDC-2107i & 2110i: DRAM 64 MB (Dynamic RAM Memory),128 MB RAM and one SD card slot.
