Color Touch Screen Computers - Application Software
The FDC-200 and FDC-600 Series are compact Touch Panel Computers with embedded Windows CE®.net operating system. Designed to operate in an industrial environment it combines the convenience of an affordable operator interface color touch screen with the power and versatility of the open Windows CE® platform.

Windows CE® Open Operating System
The open platform Windows CE.net® allows versatility to create your own application using development tools from Microsoft®, such as Visual Basic or select from a variety of 3rd party software development solutions.

Third party SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) software solutions are available from multiple sources as are custom product development from Future Design Controls as well as other 3rd party development firms.

Both the FDC-200 and FDC-600 Series are available with Windows CE operating systems v4.2, v5.0 or v6.0. Selection of the version is part of the complete part number; standard OS are shown below.
- FDC-2010 is v4.2
- FDC-2107i & 2110i are v5.0

Future Design Controls has successfully developed and deployed custom OEM projects utilizing the FDC-200 Series color touch computers with embedded Windows CE.NET operating systems.

The custom OEM projects are proprietary to specific manufacturers and by agreement with each OEM we cannot display screen samples in our marketing efforts. These machine control solutions include crematory, meat cooking (smokehouses), environmental chambers and other related processing equipment and as appropriate is in conformance with pharmaceutical CFR21 part 11 requirements.

For low unit volume OEM's or one-time projects third party development software can provide a time & cost effective solution for SCADA and/or other application. Typically you must purchase a development version of the software and pay a "runtime" fee for every computer your developed application is installed.
