What is the FDC-600-X Series?

The FDC-600-X Series are compact Touch Panel Computers with embedded Windows XP® or CE®.net operating system. Designed to operate in an industrial environment it combines the convenience of an affordable operator interface color touch screen with the power and versatility of the open Windows XP® or CE® platforms.

Windows XP® Operating System

Windows XP is embedded on a 2GB Disk on Module (DOM); XP requires approx. 80MB of the 2GB of memory.

Windows CE® Operating System

Windows CE is embedded on a 256MB Disk on Module (DOM); a 2GB DOM is optionally available.

Windows CE v5.0 is standard with the other versions available.

Windows Applications

Both Windows XP® and CE.net® allow versatility to select the HMI software (written for appropriate operating system), connect to controllers/PLC’s you use and/or create your own application using Microsoft® Visual Basic, have Future Design Controls develop a custom OEM solution or from multiple 3rd party software development solution providers;
