FDC-2010-K5C (Main View) Runtime Menus:

The FDC-2010-K5C runtime menu system provides a familiar, easy to use interface while reducing screen “clutter” by eliminating extra buttons required for navigation.  Each series of interface screens will have their own series of menus specifically focused on the tasks for the specific screen.

Shown above are the “top” level menus when the FDC-2010-K5C runtime first loads.  A Help menu exist for every screen but is not shown in the menu items above.

Setup Menu: The setup menu provides access to system and controller setup options.  These options include decimal point selection, enable Web Page Server, Fan setup, Temperature Alarm Setpoints, Control Tuning, schedule recovery options when power is lost / recovered, Output Monitor, as well as offline settings for degree C/F, Setpoint Limits, Input Offsets, Force System Outputs and date/time.

This page describes Web Page Server - click here for more detail on other items described in the Setup Menu Kiln System User Settings.htm.

The remaining Menu items, View/Main View, Schedule, Setup, Log & Security are described in their own sections.

Kiln System Settings

If the FDC-2010-K5C is plugged into an Ethernet connection (FDC-2010-K5C ships configured for “DHCP”), the IP address of the unit will be displayed.  DHCP means “Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol”. This is a term used when a device (FDC-2010-K5C) is hooked to an Ethernet connection and the main system (router) automatically assigns the IP address when the device (FDC-2010-K5C) is powered up.  The “Web Server Enabled” checkbox turns on or off the FDC-2010-K5C unit from serving web pages that are accessible via a local Intranet or World Wide Web (wired or wireless). The main setup screen also allows the user to select the decimal position for reading/writing dry bulb and wet bulb values.
