Future Design Controls PXR4 ramp/soak profile 1/16 DIN controller offers features meeting a variety of needs in the process industry. The standard 8-segment ram/soak feature provides up to two patterns that can be linked to create a 16-step profile.
The PXR4 accepts temperature and process inputs and offers up to two PID control outputs, two alarms - one of which can be configured as a heater break alarm, RS485 Modbus Communications and digital input.
Standard features include configurable display decimal point, hysteresis for control and alarm outputs, Output Limiting, PV Shift [bias], Deadband between Heat/Cool outputs and more are standard.
PXR4 with optional RS485 Modbus Communication used in conjunction with Future Design Controls Multiview SCADA software [FREE] and/or Orion Color Touch Screen PC running Windows® CE with embedded SCADA software allows easy profile creation, storage, downloading, etc.
