The Orion runtime menu system provides a familiar, easy to use interface while reducing screen “clutter” by eliminating extra buttons required for navigation. Each series of interface screens will have their own series of menus specifically focused on the tasks for the specific screen.
Shown below at the "top" level menu when Orion runtime first loads.

Alarm Views: Monitor [active alarms] and Historical Views
From the "View" menu select either "Alarm Monitor" to view active alarms or "Alarm History" to view alarm history files.

Note: Data View describes Single, Dual, All Control Views, Bargraph & Trends and Push Button Controls
Alarm View - Monitor [active alarms]
Alarm Monitor View displays screens that are currently in alarm. Any time a controller goes into alarm the background on all View screens will change from traditional Windows® blue to red until the alarm is acknowledged. When an alarm is acknowledged the backgrounds will return to their normal color but the alarm will stay in the alarm grid. The alarm will only leave the grid when cleared by an operator. Only alarms that are not currently active can be cleared from the alarm grid. If an alarm condition still exists after the grid is cleared the alarm will be re-posted in the grid.
Note: The Alarm Monitor View will track up to 40 alarms total (controller alarms and optional digital input) before the message "AlmMgr Full Press Clear Grid" is displayed. Additional alarms will not be posted unitl the "Clear Grid" button is pressed.
If the optional Digtial Alarm Manager is connected to the Orion link an additional "Reset Digital" button will show up to the right of the "Clear Grid" button. This allows the user to clear the digital alarm manager at the hardware level. This is done to clear the order of alarms or when more than 30 digital alarms exists. If a digital alarm condition exists after the "Reset Digital" button is pressed the digital alarm will be re-posted to the alarm grid.
Note: After 30 digital alarms are posted in the gird the message "DigiMgr Full! Reset to Clear" will be posted. Additional digital alarms will not be posted until the "Reset Digital" button is pressed.
For more information on the optional Real Time First-In Digital Alarm Manager.
Alarm History View displays all alarms for any daily period for up to one year. Each time an alarm is active in Orion system, the alarm is written to a history file. History filenames are listed as month_day_year. The history alarm grid displays alarm type, date and time for each alarm. The “Open File” button will display an “open” dialog box where the user can select any alarm history file to view.

Digital Alarm Manager - Digital Input Status View
The Digital Input Status screen displays the status of all digital inputs enabled in the Orion configurator. Only the digital inputs selected for use will be displayed in the screen. The “Master On” input and “Master Sync Input “ are always displayed in positions 1 and 2 of the grid. When the green “LED” is on, the input is energized. When the green “LED” is off the input is de-energized. When the “Master On” input is de-energized, this screen can be used to check for correct wiring and status of all inputs used without creating a digital alarm that will write to the alarm manager and alarm history log.

Note: If the number of digital inputs configured in the system will not fit in the “Digital Input Status” window, use the scroll bar to the right of the window to scroll through all digital inputs for status viewing.
