Runtime Menu System

The Orion runtime menu system provides a familiar, easy to use interface while reducing screen “clutter” by eliminating extra buttons required for navigation. Each series of interface screens will have their own series of menus specifically focused on the tasks for the specific screen.

Shown below at the "top" level menu when Orion runtime first loads.

Data Views; Push Button Controls

The push button controls screen allows the user to control up to 15 pushbutton operations from the Orion interface.  The output relays for each push button are wired to the digital alarm manager and will be operational only if the digital alarm manager is connected to the communications link.  Press the right/left arrow to move to the next group of push buttons (up to 15 pushbuttons supported). The left and right arrows will only move to the next group of buttons based on the “total number of buttons” set in the Orion configurator.  If only 5 buttons are setup in the configurator for use, the left/right arrow keys will have no effect.  This eliminates confusion for the operator in viewing buttons that are not configured in the system.

Time “off” delays for each pushbutton are programmable in the setup section of the Orion software.

Note: If the digital alarm manager is not activated in the Orion configurator, the push button controls screen will not be accessible.
