Runtime Menu System
The Orion runtime menu system provides a familiar, easy to use interface while reducing screen "clutter" by eliminating extra buttons required for navigation. Each series of interface screens will have their own series of menus specifically focused on the tasks for the specific screen.
Shown below at the "top" level menu when Orion runtime first loads.

Single Setpoint, PID and/or Alarm setpoint Recipes
The "Recipes" menu from Orion's main menu structure provides access to profile & single setpoint recipe section of Orion. Profile Recipes are used when profile controllers (only supported by specific manufactures) are attached to the link.
Orion can be used as a librarian to store & download hundreds of recipes to controllers on the link reducing time consuming tasks like product setup or line changes. There is a seperate page for review of Orion's profile recipes - this section is for Single Setpoint Recipes.
Using the menu system open Recipes, Edit and create new or open existing for edit a Setpoint Recipe
The single setpoint recipe screen provides the user with the ability to edit, open, store and download single setoint recipes to any group of controllers on the Orion link. Single setpoint recipes are used to set all (or any group) of controls to predetermined setpoints, PID and/or alarm setpoint(s) with a single menu item.

Use the "on/off"checkbox or "document" icon to select the control recipe for download. If the checkbox is not selected the setpoint value will not be written to the controller. When the "document" icon is hi-lighted (to the right of the on/off checkbox) the specific controller is available for editing. Use the "Edit" menu to select "Edit Recipe" to access the edit recipe window for the selected controller.
Note: If an FM approved L91 limit controller is on the link Orion will not allow its' checkbox to be selected. If a recipe is loaded with a setpoint value Orion will unselect it when a change or download is attempted.
Edit Single Setpoint, PID and/or Alarm setpoint Recipe Entry Screen
The Edit single recipe screen allows the user to edit Setpoint, PID and alarm values for the selected controller. Press each field to enter a value. Separate menu items exist to download only setpoints, tuning or alarm values so all values do not have to be entered if they are not needed for the application.

Note: If an FM approved L91 limit controller is on the link Orion will not allow its' checkbox to be selected. If a recipe is loaded with a setpoint value Orion will unselect it when a change or download is attempted.
